METAMORPHOSIS

Presented by Andiamo Dance Company

This full-length evening of dance will explore the idea of metamorphosis as it is defined in the Oxford Dictionary, “a change of the form or nature of a thing or person into a completely different one, by natural or supernatural means.” This performance will feature all nine of Andiamo’s Season 6 company members with choreography by Artistic Director, Jess Berto, and Andiamo dancers, Lauren Gates, Grace Jackson, Devyn Sader, Bella Roberts and Domenica Troina. This show will also feature a new work set on Andiamo dancers by Katie O’Loughlin. Katie recently completed her M.F.A. in Dance at Ohio State University and has since moved back to Alaska to work with UAA in Anchorage to reinstate their dance minor program.
